Ostbye, a leading global manufacturer of bridal and related jewelry, was relying on a dated, basic website for their online presence. Ostbye recognized they needed to update their digital storefront, while creating a site that effectively managed the daily volatility in the ever-changing metals market, streamlined a complex product catalog, and supported sales reps with limited experience using digital technology.
With more than a decade of partnership, Ostbye and DKS collaborated to architect a fully custom .Net content management system that would address Ostbye’s unique business needs. To address the ever-fluctuating prices, DKS integrated the website with Ostbye’s existing Dynamics NAV ERP system. This integration provided convenient, accurate real-time catalog shopping for customers, along with secure distributor access for order history, invoice control, and product reorder.
Ostbye’s investment in the new site quickly paid off with faster and more accurate orders, increased retailers usage, greater sales rep efficiency, and streamlined business processes.
Since the launch, our partnership with Ostbye has grown to include the development of an iOS iPad app to drive efficiency with sales reps while visiting retailers, building on the success of their original investment.
