Their goal in partnering with DKS? Automate their business processing, ease the customer experience and cut costs along the way.
To address Koehler’s goal of processing orders any time of the day, offering access to order history and shipping status, and cutting out their internal “middleman,” DKS developed a custom .Net e-commerce platform. The new interface takes advantage of user experience testing and design to optimize usability from first click to final order tracking 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
In addition to more convenient, easier ordering and shipment tracking for customers, Koehler & Dramm’s new site provided powerful new tools internally as well. By integrating online ordering with Open Systems TRAVERSE ERP system, Koehler & Dramm has access to greater reporting insights on every sale and each customer, making their ROI stronger than ever.
The floral business is complex. Not only do we have an abundance of product SKU’s, we’re dealing with a product that has a limited shelf-life and customers who need our product fast. We identified an opportunity to mirror our 60 years of offline experience by developing an online sales channel. Because of this, we selected DKS Systems as our technology partner and have been working with them to continue to enhance our website.
