Alarm Product Distributors (APD), an independent distributor in St. Paul, Minnesota, came to DKS Systems with a desire to transition from a simple marketing site to an integrated ecommerce website.
To transition their website to an ecommerce site, the challenge was to integrate with Navision, a Microsoft Dynamic product, in order to streamline order processing, provide near real-time product inventory, offer customized information access and keep product descriptions up-to-date.
After searching for a solution, APD found DKS. We analyzed their needs for a customer-specific user experience and rebuilt their website on a custom commerce system. In addition to the new website development, we successfully integrated with Navision to satisfy users and meet APD's business goals.
