Robust Capabilities
Customization/ Branding
Any look and feel can be achieved via the ReadyPortal's extensive Site Appearance controls. Administrators can select from a variety of professional quality template styles or they can develop their own preferences. This customized look and feel can be achieved through the traditional method of programming cascading style sheets. Alternatively, administrators can utilize an intuitive user interface that replicates the application experience of market leading graphics programs. This enables non-technical users to have complete design control over their sites without having any web programming experience.
ReadyPortal also provides backend input templates that enable web programmers to use customized graphics, which enables any type of design to be achieved. To enable ongoing usage of these branding/customization choices, site appearance designs can be saved as templates. Branding/customization choices can be established for individual portal modules, series of web pages or the entire site. Popular web programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript and Flash also can easily be incorporated in to the ReadyPortal platform.
Personalization
The ReadyPortal platform is architected to enable personalization for specific types of users through the inheritance engine. Personalization can also be provided at the individual user level through the use of DKS' customization engine. Control settings may be established to enable the creation of customized views into the portal, with the ability to organize, add, delete, cut, copy, paste, and modify PortalModules. Users may also define their portal interface's look and feel using an extensive range of site appearance controls. The portal administrator defines the extent of these controls.
Localization
The ReadyPortal Solution can support content publishing in multiple languages. As a result, customers can use ReadyPortal to serve web initiatives with a global audience.
