I’ve heard the question a hundred times: “When should I post on Facebook?” Or, there’s the more general question of “When should I post on social media?”
There is no ONE right answer, as it’s very audience-specific. So step #1 is knowing your audience. (<– Link to a great post on how to get to know your audience.)
But now, Facebook gives you better insight (through new additions to their Insights) as to WHO your audience is, WHAT they like and WHEN they’re online.
Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it?
The Best Time to Post on Your Facebook Page
Obviously, the best times to post on Facebook is when your fans are online. To see recent data – go to your Page Insights and visit the “Posts” section.
Facebook breaks the information down by Days and Times.
Scroll over each day to see the Time chart change reflecting the averages for that particular day.
Schedule your posts to be sent during the days and times where your audience is most active.
What day/time is your audience most active?
[Note: The popular times could be skewed if you sent out a post around that time within the past week. It's all about identifying trends while understanding your audience.]
